Flint Township Police are asking the pubic for help finding four men in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault of two women in a popular shopping area.
The attacks happened on June 27th and July 27th in the 3000 and 4000 blocks of Corunna Road in Flint Township.
Investigators say the women in both attacks were walking alone when they were approached by the suspects.
They were snatched up and taken to another location for about an hour and then raped. The women were let go after the attacks and took themselves to the hospital.
Detectives describe the suspects as follows:
*Suspect #1- 6ft tall, mid-20s with a muscular build and short dirty blond hair. He has a thin goatee, possibly with side burns down to the bottom of his jaw. He also has a pierced tongue and pierced chin, with a gauge in his ear (unknown which ear) and a tribal-like tattoo on his left chest.
*Suspect #2 – 5’10”, mid-20s, with a chunky build, with short curly blond hair worn possibly in an afro style. The man has facial hair between his lower lip and chin and he also has a tattoo on his right hand.
*Suspect #3 - mid-20s, between 6'3" and 6'5", thin build, weighs between 180- 210 pounds with short brown hair and a goatee. He has a tattoo of blue dice on his left outside calf, a tattoo of a band or writing around his left bicep and a pierced tongue.
*Suspect # 4- late 20s or early 30s, standing about 6'’, muscular build and dark hair.
Investigators say one of the victims described seeing a burgundy four door vehicle.
The two attacks have left the Flint Township community on edge.
“I’ve never heard of an attack on woman in this area ever. I’m really surprised,” said Leigh Conway, who has lived in Flint Township for 8 years.
“I walk up and down Corunna Road all the time and so my son. I won’t let him walk around here because of that.”
Police say the victims are meeting with sketch artists Thursday. Drawings of the suspects will be released as soon as they are available.
