BRECKENRIDGE -- An NBC25 Facebook Fan sent a photo of a funnel cloud east of Breckenridge.
The cloud was spotted around 3:00 p.m., but the National Weather Service says it never touched down.
Cold air was moving in and caused the brief funnel clouds to develop. They rarely touch down, but can cause gusty and severe winds.
