SAGINAW COUNTY -- Buena Vista Township Police report that a 21-year old Saginaw man died just after 7:00 p.m. When he lost control of his motorcycle.
Investigators say the accident happened on Northbound I-75 near Wadsworth Road in Saginaw County.
The victim was dead when first responders arrived on scene.
Police say the victim lost control of the bike and he was thrown off the motorcycle and hit a sign.
The cycle continued northeast before coming to rest in the ditch just north of Wadsworth road.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
Northbound I-75 was closed for about 2 hours for the on-scene investigation and subsequent clean up.
