Denver Lawrence Edgley is accused of jumping out from behind a car naked and trying to kidnap two little girls.

MONTROSE TWP. -- A 46-year-old Flint man has been charged for attempting to kidnap to little girls in Montrose Township.
Prosecutor David Leyton reports Denver Lawrence Edgley is charged with kidnapping, aggravated indecent exposure, and accosting children for immoral purposes.
The Montrose Township Police say Edgley was naked when he jumped from behind his vehicle and tried to kidnap two little girls who were riding their bike nearby.
Police say the girls were able to fight him off and escape. The girls reported the man to police, and they were able to track down his vehicle and arrest him.
“The Montrose Township Police did an excellent job in identifying the suspect,” Prosecutor Leyton stated. “We will present additional evidence in court.”
Edgley has a criminal record, though details are not listed in the Michigan Department of Corrections website. He faces up to life in prison if convicted of the latest crimes.
