LANSING -- The Michigan House and Senate have both voted to ban what opponents call 'partial-birth' abortions in Michigan.
The Senate passed the bill 29-8 on Wednesday, and the House followed suit hours later, passing the bill 75-33.
'Partial-birth' abortions are already banned by the federal government, and opponents of House Bill 4109 say today's vote was nothing more than political.
Governor Rick Snyder is expected to sign the bill into law Wednesday evening.
