DETROIT -- An MGM Grand Detroit casino patron is suing after he claims he was allegedly beaten by police for no reason. Surveillance video catches the events.
NBC25’s sister station, WDIV-TV, reports 38-year-old Patrick Boissan was accused of inappropriately touching a waitress at the casino on July 30th. He then says a police officer got up into his face, he raised his arm to guard himself, and was then beaten by the officer. His attorney tells WDIV that Boissan suffered a broken nose and broken ribs during the fight.
Boisson was charged with assaulting a police officer and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Now, though, Boisson is fighting back. WDIV-TV reports he has filed a federal lawsuit against officers Arthur Dudal and Jose Ortiz.
