Michigan's Lt. Governor signs a bill that would allow michigan to move forward with some planned high-speed rail projects.

The bill ear-marks money to buy and improve a 135-mile rail from Kalamazoo to Dearborn.

The state money helps secure federal grants for the project.

The rail could be used for freight trains.

Passenger trains could go up to 110 miles per hour.
