The Isabella County Sheriff's department believes it has caught the man accused of choking a woman with a sweatshirt and dragging her.
Twenty-one year old Nicholas Villarreal of Mt. Pleasant is charged him with attempted kidnapping and assault and battery.
The Isabella County Sheriff's Department has been investigating the incident that allegedly happened Sunday, June 5th on Sterling Way in Union Township.
A 21-year-old woman says Villarreal stopped choking her when she screamed.
The suspect has posted bail.
He'll be back in court this Thursday.
