ORION TOWNSHIP -- President Barack Obama and South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak toured the General Motors plant in Orion Township on Friday.

The visit included both presidents climbing into the fuel-efficient Chevrolet Sonic.

President Lee wore a Detroit Tigers caps during the tour of the plant.

The Tigers play game 6 of the American League Championship Series on Saturday night in Texas.

During his speech to workers at the plant, Obama defended his decision to keep GM from going bankrupt.

"When I took office I was determined to rebuild this economy based on what this country has always done best. Not just buying and consuming, but building, making things, selling those goods all around the world, stamped with three proud words, 'Made in America,'" said PresidentObama.

The recent trade agreement signed between the two countries could support as many as 70,000 American jobs.
