Parents and uncle could face charges of child neglect
COLFAX TOWNSHIP -- The Huron County Sheriff's Department tells NBC25 a one-year-old was found wandering around a trailer park in Colfax Township Wednesday morning.
Two residents in the Charlotte Street Trailer Court found the toddler around ten o'clock, wearing nothing but a pair of pants.
The residents eventually located the toddler's home, and once inside the residence, they found the toddler's uncle passed out and apparently intoxicated.
Sheriff's deputies tell NBC25 the parents were asleep in a back room.
The case has been forwarded to the Huron County Prosecutor's Office.
The parents and the uncle could all face charges of child neglect.
