Consumers Energy workers from Michigan are heading to New Jersey to restore electric service from damage caused by the early winter storm.
Around 70-employees, including technicians, mechanics, and supervisors could stay up to two weeks depending on how extensive the damage is.
The crews left from Jackson Sunday at noon.
