DETROIT -- General Motors is creating / maintaining about 320 jobs at the Romulus, Michigan plant.

WDIV-TV reports the Detroit-based automaker is investing $385 million at the engine plant in order to build a fuel-efficient motor.

This investment comes on the heels of two other major announcements in Saginaw last week.

Governor Rick Snyder was present at the two Mid-Michigan events at which General Motors announced their $215 million investment into Saginaw Metal Castings Operation and Nexteer announced $150 million will be poured into the world headquarters in Buena Vista Township.
