Ah, an extra hour of sleep. With all the stresses whirling around us these days, we can all use extra rest, and Saturday night / Sunday morning you can get it.
It’s that time of year again to “Fall Back” for Daylight Saving’s Time.
So, before 2:00 a.m. Sunday, Michigan residents will need to move their clocks back one full hour.
According to the National Geographic’s report on Daylight Savings Time, the event was first suggested by Ben Franklin, who apparently didn’t like to rise before the sun came up. However, it wasn’t until World War I that it was actually implemented, and in 1918 a federal law was passed. You can read the full report on Daylight Savings by clicking here.
