Boosting good cholesterol could help diabetics lower their risk for heart disease.

A new study recorded 30,000 diabetes patients.  According to NBC News, researchers found those who increased their levels of good cholesterol were less likely to have a heart attack or stroke.

On the flip side, those whose good cholesterol worsened had an increased risk for these health problems.
