Antibiotics could be contributing to the childhood obesity epidemic.
NBC News reports that’s the conclusion from a New York University study.
Researchers exposed baby mice to common antibiotics, and then measured their weight and height. They found mice that got antibiotics gained more weight and grew more than mice not given the drugs.
