Pythons are known for their heart-stopping effects, but now researchers are looking to the snakes to help keep human hearts beating.

NBC News reports a python's heart grows forty percent bigger or moreafter eating.

A recent study a combination of fatty acids in the blood triggered healthy heart growth.

Experts say it's possible a human heart would have the same result, which could help people with cardiovascular disease.
