Its been a busy weekend for Saginaw police after two home invasions leave two men shot. One suspect is still on the loose.

Family and friends of a gun shot victim gather early Sunday morning in Saginaw trying to figure out what happened just a few hours ago.

Police responded to a home invasion call and arrived to find the forty-two year old victim shot in the stomach. Bullets shattered glass on the porch of this home at Fulton and Genesee. Neighbors also heard gunshots.

Tamkia Green says, " They broke into 'D' house and they shot him. And it was some other people in there which caused the person to be shot. They needed to be caught."

Police arrested a twenty-sox year old suspect on scene. investigators say the suspect apparently tried to rob the home.

It was the second home invasion this weekend.

On Friday, twenty-eight year old Nicholas Coleman was shot in the head and chest after another home invasion on compton street near Bay road and Davenport. Neighbors are still shocked because this westside area is usually quiet.

Resident Ramon Kelly says, " My son told me he heard gunshots and its sad that he know the difference between fireworks and gunshots because we had fireworks too going on the other night."

Coleman is now listed in grave condition as police investigate who did this.

With all the violence residents are thinking twice about locking up even in the daytime.
