LOS ANGELES -- As NBC News reports, cars aren't just "boy's toys" anymore.
Automakers at the LA Auto Show say many manufacturers are targeting women this year with approximately 50% of the show's vehicles geared towards ladies.
Manufacturers are designing ways to make it easier for moms to load their kids and groceries in the car with new door and trunk designs.
The most popular styles with women are the crossovers due to flexibility and high safety ratings.
