Flint Twp. Police say this man witnessed a shooting at the Family Dollar on Ballanger Rd.
FLINT TWP. -- Flint Township Police are looking are asking for help in tracking down the man who shot through the doors of a Family Dollar and injured a customer.
Police say it happened around 2:40 p.m. at the store on 1275 N. Ballenger Highway. The gunman reportedly went up to the front doors and began firing into the building. One person, who was shopping at the store during the incident, was struck and injured. That victim’s injuries are serious, but not life-threatening.
Now, police are looking for the culprit and a witness who they say saw the entire events unfold.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens ore early 20’s. He’s about 5’4” and around 140 lbs. He was wearing a gray hoodie with a white t-shirt underneath, blue jeans, and white shoes. He used a semi-automatic handgun.
Police have also released the photo of the witness who they’re trying to track down to gain more information. His photo can be seen at the top of this article. Police say a toddler was with the witness.
