GENESEE CO. -- The Genesee County Animal Shelter could close it’s doors as county commissioners are looking at ways to shave the budget.
The shelter costs taxpayers around $1 million dollars a year to operate. Some revenue is brought in from the sale of some of those animals.
A meeting will be held on December 19th to discuss the possibility of closing the animal shelter.
