FLINT (AP) -- Police say a man fired a gun at a Michigan State Police trooper in Flint before being chased down and captured.
The shooting happened after the trooper made a traffic stop late Wednesday or early Thursday. Police say the man got out of a vehicle, started running and fired a shot. Police say the trooper wasn't hit.
Police chased the man and caught him after a brief struggle. The man was jailed.
