Study says time of surgery does not matter

You are no more likely to have complications from a surgery performed in the morning than you would after surgery done at night, according to a new study.

While some research has suggested higher complication rates from night-time surgeries -- the latest information from the Cleveland Clinic indicates no such risk.

Researchers there analyzed the outcomes of more than 32,000 elective surgeries performed between 2005 and 2010.
