ANN ARBOR -- People were stranded in elevators as the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor lost power Monday.

AnnArbor.com reports several buildings lost power around 10:00 a.m.

Crews responded to get people who were stuck in the elevators out. The report says everyone has since been extricated. 

Power is expected to be restored at all buildings by 2:00 p.m. 

Officials are investigating what caused the power outage.
