SAGINAW COUNTY -- Students at Bridgeport High School were dismissed early Friday afternoon after a possible case of MRSA was reported. NBC25 spoke with several parents who say they were called by the school around 12:30 p.m. and told that students were being sent home as a precaution after they found out a student that had recently been tested showed to school.
Basketball games schedule at Bridgeport High School were moved to Caro High School.
"I was told the student went to school because he wanted to wrestling practice. One of his parents actually called the school and told them he had just been tested but not diagnosed," said Jeffrey Bowen, whose child is a sophmore at the school.
