Flint police are looking for the man who gunned down an 18-year-old woman then left her for dead in the street Sunday night.

Just four weeks into 2012 and a community is reacting to Flint's seventh homicide of the year, a woman killed in front of her home.
This was the scene Sunday night as police worked to figure out why someone would want Shamika Johnson dead. Investigators worked into the night and announced they're looking for a person of interest.
"Thats my baby that they took away from me, they took my baby's life," a hysterical LaShonda Horton said in reaction to her daughter's death
Johnson's mother says she was home when the alleged shooter came to the street and picked her daughter up.
Horton also heard the gunshots.
"I seen him when he pulled up and picked my daughter up and he acted like he was getting out the car to let her in the back seat and he started just shooting, and shooting and shooting, he shot three times," said Horton.
Horton says she knows the man who shot her daughter and is cooperating with police to have him arrested.
In the meantime, there is no comfort for her loss.
"Walking over here in this area just to shoot somebody down like a dog, that is not fair," said neighbor Annette Whitt.
