Mia Bentley's fifth pregnancy was unlike all of her others. Her daughter Adeline was just over seven weeks early at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Doctors said Adeline had stopped growing normally in her mother's womb and it was best she continued growing outside the womb.
Adeline was born weight 3 lb. 4 oz.
"I was afraid she wasn't going to be ok, that was my first concern," Bentley said. "the doctors weren't sure just how strong her lungs would be."
Adeline spent some time in Hurley's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
She needed help breathing, she also lot quite a bit of weight, but she pushed through strong.
Today, Adeline is just over four pounds and is at home with her parents and four siblings.
