Victim left casino with two unknown men
Michigan State Police in Bay City are investigating a kidnapping and abduction complaint.
A 33-year-old man from Lake was abducted and placed in the trunk of a car. The incident happened in the early morning hours of Feb. 16.
Police say the victim was gambling at the Soaring Eagle Casino and voluntarily left with two other men. The three were headed east on M-20 near Midland when the victim was assaulted with a handgun, knocked unconscious and robbed.
The man woke up in the trunk of the car and was able to escape. He fled on foot and stopped another driver to call 911.
He was treated for injuries at a Saginaw hospital.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police.
