Man shot while responding to knock at front door
Police detectives are investigating an early morning shooting on Bewick Street in Buena Vista Township.
A 30-year-old man was shot when he responded to a knock on his front door around 5:55 a.m.
The victim suffered from gunshot wounds after being struck by bullets through his front door.
There were two small children inside the home but they were not harmed.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital and is in serious condition.
Investigators have no suspects at this time but continue to gather evidence and interview any possible witnesses.
