RICHVILLE -- A benefit will be held for Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills, the Vassar soldier who lost his limbs in Afghanistan.  A spaghetti dinner will be held Memorial Day weekend at the Richville American Legion Post at 9890 Sanilac Rd., to help Mills and his family.  It runs from 2-7 p.m. on May 27.

Volunteers are needed to help make and serve the food, as well as clean up afterwards.

Anyone who wants to volunteer can call Judy Adams at (989) 823-2078.

Mills was on his third tour in Afghanistan when he lost both of his arms and legs on April 10, when he stepped on an IED.  He is being treated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
