GENESEE COUNTY -- Two major roadways around Flint have been shut down on Friday morning due to heavy flooding and standing water.

I-75 northbound and I-69 eastbound around the Miller Road area is underwater and unpassable.

Cars have been abandoned and drivers are asked to avoid those areas.

At last reported by Flint Police Operations, pumps are being brought to the area to help clear the standing water.
