Mark Zuckerberg will take Facebook public on Friday. Should he start looking more like a CEO?
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg turns 28 on Monday and this week is set to become the social network's biggest ever, as the company is expected to start selling to the public for the first time.
Facebook will begin trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market on Friday. The IPO could value facebook at nearly 100 billion dollars making it worth more than Disney, Ford and Kraft Foods.
Zuckerberg famously wears hoodies, jeans and sneakers all the time and its grabbing some attention from his critics who say he needs to start dressing the "CEO" part.
In a Bloomberg report, analyst Michael Prachter said Zuckerberg's attire shows a lack of seriousness.
"Mark and his signature hoodie: He's actually showing investors he doesn't care that much; he's going to be him," Pachter said in an interview on Bloomberg TV. "I think that's a mark of immaturity. I think that he has to realize he's bringing investors in as a new constituency right now, and I think he's got to show them the respect that they deserve because he's asking them for their money."
