It was Mother's Day at the Frenchy's South Beach Cafe when two women, Jamie Goins and Jessica Weatherford, were out with their families for a gathering.
They said their children deserved a special treat, so they had ordered non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiris. Goins said her son finished the drink in about 10 minutes, then "started acting a little strange, falling asleep and stumbling over things...then he started vomiting."
Later when the two mothers looked at the receipt they suspected that the drinks contained alcohol.
The mother's contacted the police and Goins' son was taken to the hospital.
A Clearwater police spokeswoman said it was discovered that the waitress pressed the wrong button and the boys were served alcoholic beverages by mistake. The spokeswoman also said no charges were pending because it was deemed an accident.
We are asking our facebook fans this morning if there should be consequences for Frenchy's South Beach Cafe and what should they be?
