FENTON -- A Genesee County drive-in has put an offer on the table to buy a long-vacant old movie theater that sits along US 23.

The owner of Legacy Realty says the US 23 Drive-In may reopen the Fenton Cinema.

Inspections are taking place, but it may be weeks or months before the sale can be finalized.

Fenton Cinema, which is located on Alloy Drive, has been vacant since December of 2008.
