BURTON -- Atherton Community Schools faculty and leaders stepped up to the plate for a friendly game of softball on Wednesday, and it was all for a good cause.

The Atherton School staff went head-to-head with Burton city employees last night, including the police chief and mayor.
Burton's employees won the game 19-15 but the only number that mattered was $1,125. That's how much money the district raised through the softball game.
