GRAND BLANC -- Two construction projects in Grand Blanc are in full swing.
One lane is closed in downtown Grand Blanc where a mile of roadway on Saginaw Street is undergoing work.
The project began on April 23rd as crews began working on curbs and ditches. The area is heavily populated with businesses and restaurants.
Due to the lane closures, traffic has been backed up at times.
A business owner along Saginaw Street told NBC25 his customers are frustrated but still coming in.
Construction crews are also busy building a skilled nursing facility in Grand Blanc Township. The facility will provide long and short-term rehabilitation care for seniors and other patients.
Trilogy Health Services will cover more than eight acres and will house 94 beds. The project should be completed by the fall.
