HOLLY -- Hundreds gathered at the Great Lakes National Cemetary in Holly on Sunday to serve tribute to fallen soldiers in honor Memorial Day.

A special service was held to remember fallen veterans and honor those who are still with us.

The Patriot Guard Riders Motorcycle Club participated in the event that included a rememberance to the more than 14,600 veterans who are buried in the cemetary.

NBC25's Bill Harris also took part in the celebration and gave the keynote speech.

The service also featured a rifle salute by the Marine Corps League and patriotic songs.
