Girl was sitting in vehicle when gunfire was exchanged
SAGINAW -- A 4-year-old girl was shot in the arm in Saginaw on Monday, after people in two different vehicles opened fire on each other. On Tuesday NBC25 identified four-year-old-victim as Miyona Alexander.
The girl, who was rushed to the hospital, was sitting in a third vehicle when the shootout began around 1:30 p.m. Monday.
The condition of the girl is still not known.
The shootout happened near Sheridan and Webber, a few blocks west of Saginaw High School. One of the shooters later fled on foot.
One of the weapons used in the shootout, a handgun, was left at the scene.
