Police caught the deer and had to put the animal down because of its injuries.
SAGINAW TOWNSHIP -- A consignment store got an un-expected visitor on Monday afternoon as a deer jumped through the window, breaking glass and splattering blood.
The incident occurred at the "Wears Like New" consignemnt store located on 5043 State Street in Saginaw Township.
Police caught the deer and had to put the animal down because of its injuries.
"I can't think of a deer or woods around this area that a deer would bed down," said store co-owner Joel Johnston.
Authorities say the dee may have been disorientated.
None of the clothing was damaged and the store will reopen shortly after the damage is cleaned up.
