FLINT -- An accident on I-75 snarled traffic Wednesday morning and into the early afternoon after a tractor trailer hit a bridge.

It happened just after 9 a.m. at the Miller Road exit.

The truck, which was carrying an oversized load, smashed into the street sign and caused a major traffic jam.

As a result, the westbound lane of Miller Road, over I-75, was shut down to one lane for most of the day on Wednesday.

At last check on Thursday, all lanes have been reopened and the damage has been cleared.
