Hundreds of people showed their support for gay pride in Saginaw Saturday. Lesbians, gays, bi-sexual and transgender people held their 2nd annual gay pride festival.

One man said he loves that the community can come together for this cause.

"We were so unrecognized here in Saginaw for even having a gay community. This parade, this event actually showcases our lifestyle. It lets everybody know that we're here, we're happy, we live life and we're here in the community," James Hill said.

The gay pride celebration is always the 2nd week of June in Saginaw.
