Cordless drill recall
/ U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a nationwide recall on 45,000 Kawasaki cordless drills. Reports say the trigger switches can short and generate excessive heat and could pose a burn hazard.
The drills were sold exclusively at Costco stores nationwide between May 2011 through February 2012 . The manufacturer is urging consumers to not return the drills to the stores. Instead, consumers should register to receive a free drill by clicking here.
