Consumer's Energy says you can save as much as $150 a year on energy costs by upgrading your appliances.

FLINT -- Consumer's Energy wants your old refrigerator and it could earn you $50.

In July and August, the energy company is offering its customers a special $50 incentive for recycling old, inefficient refrigerators and freezers through it's appliance recycling program.

Consumer's Energy says you can save as much as $150 a year on energy costs by upgrading your appliances.
