ATLAS TOWNSHIP -- A Genesee County couple begins to cleanup after an ultra-light plane crash crashes into their home.
The accident happened on Saturday in Atlas Township near the shore of Lake Shinanguag.
A young girl and man believed to be her grandfather were aboard the plane. The man was unhurt, but the girl was sent to the hospital.
A couple was sitting in their sun room and saw the plane coming toward the house.
"I said Bob look at that plane coming across the lake and I said he's not going to make it,' said homeowner Charmaine Kerchner. "He's going to hit the tree and between the time I said that and he turned around he was in our window."
Kerchner also says her husband received minor injuries and repairs to teh house are underway.
