Flushing toddler drowns, body identified from Midland drowning

Flushing police are investigating the death of a 14-month-old girl who drowned in her family's swimming pool last week.

Police say the girl was outside playing with two of her five siblings when their mother called them inside the house.

When the toddler didn't come inside with the other kids, police say the mother went outside to find her.  She was find in the in-ground swimming pool. No other details have been released at this time.

Meanwhile in Midland, police have identified the body of a woman who accidentally drowned in the Tittabawassee River over the weekened.

41-year-old Kelly Draper was last seen near the Golfside Boat Launch.  She was reported missing Saturday night.

The Midland Police Dive Team recovered Draper's body.

A toxicology report is expected in a couple of weeks.
