MT. MORRIS -- As the conclusion of summer nears Genesee County Residents are enjoying events like the Crim, back to the bricks and of course the Genesee County Fair.
"There are a lot of events and they are all important. I think a lot of people like to go to those events. it's a great week here, a great couple of weeks here for the local community."
Monday through Sunday the fair will be open and admission is free.
"Its great because it is a last celebration. Its a last celebration of summer. Just before kids go back to school and people kid of get into their fall routines."
One of this years sponsors Hyatt constructions is putting the final touches on their stand but will also be enjoying what the fair has to offer.
“We enjoy putting the whole project together, she's a great help of course good help is hard to find. And also just spending time with her and out here on a nice day today watching everything being put together and come together for a great week at the fair."
Closing out the fair’s final nights is county music stars Montgomery Gentry and Justin Moore but for Olivia Hyatt the smaller things are more important.
“Eating elephant ears, rides and whole bunch of stuff."
