Car fails to stop, hits bike, kills driver
In Tuscola County, a 53 year old woman on a motorcycle was killed, when a driver failed to stop at a stop sign. She was wearing a helmet.
Tuscola County Sheriffs deputies say the accident happened on Sunday, around 12:30 p.m. on Saginaw and Washburn in Vassar Township. Her husband was also driving a motorcyle nearby, but he wasn't hurt.
The victim is from Emmett, MI, but authorities haven't released her name. Authorities say a 24 year old Oxford woman was the "at fault" driver. She was with her fiance and 2 kids when the impact occured. They weren't seriously hurt. They were wearing seat belts.
