BAY CITY -- Police are asking motorists to avoid a portion of Euclid Street in Bay City after a man on a bicycle was hit by a car.

Bay County dispatch confirms that a 30-year-old male riding a bike was hit by a vehicle around 9:30 Saturday night at the intersection of Jane and Euclid.

Intitial reports state that the man's head was bleeding. It is unknown if he is conscious or the extent of his injuries.

Euclid is shut down from Midland to Thomas Street.
