TUSCOLA COUNTY -- An escaped prisoner is back behind bars today after escaping from a minimum security facility earlier this week.
State police told NBC25 on Thursday morning that Thomas Howard was arrested on Wednesday in Detroit.
Howard fled Monday night from the Camp Tuscola Correctional Facility in Caro.
The 22-year-old inmate is a parolee with wo controlled substance convictions.
