Congratulations to our NBC25 Great Kid of the Month for September, Evan Kennard from Vassar.
He is a junior at Vassar High School and has volunteered for organizations while in school. He stay active by running cross country, playing football, wrestling and baseball.
He most recently participated in Relay for Life to help fight back against cancer. He has also volunteers to help raise funds for cancer awareness at his high school. The cause is very important to him since losing his grandfather and uncle to cancer.
Evan is also a great neighbor. He has cleaned up his neighbor's yard and performed other tasks without being asked.
As the NBC25 Great Kid of the Month, Evan wins two nights accommodations at Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa and three days use of Avalanche Bay Indoor Water Park for up to a family of four at Boyne Mountain Resort.
