ISABELLA COUNTY -- Isabella County authorities arrest a man who they say assaulted a homeowner during a burglary.
29-year-old Blake Ryan Ketner of Mt. Pleasant was arrested for home invasion, assault with a dangerous weapon, larceny of firearms, resisting and obstructing a police officer and felony firearm.
Officials say the assault happened near Wise and Coleman Roads.
Police say Ketner allegedly broke into the home and when the homeowner returned, the suspect hit the homeowner with a handgun and ran out of the house.
The homeowner fired a shot at the suspect but it did not hit him.
Ketner was later located at his mother's home on Wise Road.
